Approval of minutes needed.

  • Recommendation:

    Staff recommends approval of the September 6, 2022 minutes.

Minutes need to be approved from the October 18, 2022 HPB meeting.

  • Recommendation:

    Staff recommends approval.

During Public Comment, the architects and engineering team hired by the City will present their findings as to the feasibility of restoring the Thelma Boltin Center.

  • Recommendation:

    This is a presentation during public comment and not a public hearing.

This is a Certificate of Appropriateness for a rear addition. Continued from the October meeting since we did not have quorum.

  • Recommendation:

    Staff recommends that application COA-22-000094 be approved.

This is a Certificate of Appropriateness for new construction in the Pleasant Street Historic District.

  • Recommendation:

    Staff recommends approval of COA-22-000059 with the following conditions: Condition 1 – Some fenestration is needed for the west elevation of the 2nd (detached) ADU so that it is not one solid wall, to be approved by the Historic Preservation Officer, Condition 2 – Proper space shall be left for future sidewalk on the NW 7th Avenue side, per requirements in the land Development Code 30-6.18.

This is a Certificate of Appropriateness for an After-the-Fact new fence.

  • Recommendation:

    Staff recommends that application COA-22-000100 be approved with the following conditions: Condition 1 – The fence shall be painted white to look like a finished product, Condition 2 – At the time the new construction project for the vacant lot comes before the Historic Preservation Board, the application shall include plans for fencing both properties that comply with current Guidelines.

This is a Certificate of Appropriateness for a new rear screen porch and a small pool.

  • Recommendation:

    Staff recommends that application COA-22-000122 be approved.

This is a Certificate of Appropriateness for the restoration of the historic property after a fire.

  • Recommendation:

    Staff recommends approval of COA-22-000123.
